Modified Starch

Pearlobond (Phosphated starch) is our premium product for Foundry and it is being used by big organisations for its special properties, since many years.

This higher viscosity binder is used to give good green bond strength and known for its special property to withstand higher temperatures required in foundry.

Sodium carboxymethyl starch is starch ether which is an economic option to sodium methyl cellulose. This starch is used in the areas of textile sizing & Printing, Corrugated Paper, Paper sizing, Oil well Drilling, Water Based Distemper, Oil Bound Distemper, Electrodes, Ceramics, Pesticides, Foundry and Adhesives. After proper chemical testing these starches are made which retain adequate adhesive power.

We use modified Karstarch TBM to make this range of boiling starch. This starch used for sizing of cotton yarn (OE and ring) and polyester viscous and cotton. These starches are very simple to use and short in size and can be modified in many ways to alter their function in the case of additive formulations.
